IMPORTANT COURSE QUALIFICATION MESSAGE
The Contender Rifle Level 2 course is finally here by popular demand. This course is significantly more strenuous, technical, and physically demanding than Level 1.
To enroll in this course, students should possess a strong intermediate skill level and demonstrate a solid foundation in the following areas:
• Subconscious firearms safety practices
• Barricade shooting fundamentals
• Strong confidence in weapon handling and safety manipulation
• Complete understanding of rifle carry positions and sling manipulation
• Tactical and speed reloads
• Malfunction clearances (immediate and remedial actions)
• Positional shooting (kneeling, prone, and modified positions)
Students who have successfully completed Contender Rifle Level 1 or have participated in Open Gym will experience a natural progression into this course.
Alternatively, prospective students may email [email protected] to discuss equivalent training they have completed and determine if this course is appropriate for them.
Due to previous incidents, students whose only firearms training consists of NRA curriculum do not qualify for this course, The contender level 1 courses are a perfect opportunity to develop the foundation and skills necessary to participate in the lvl 2 courses.
Any student who enrolls without the skill level necessary to safely operate at the pace of this course will be asked to leave without a refund.
By registering for this course, you acknowledge that your skill level and weapon-handling experience meet the course prerequisites.
PLEASE EMAIL US if you are unsure about your qualifications or would like assistance determining your eligibility.
