The Contender Carbine Course covers the fundamentals of Carbine marksmanship and handling. There will be a heavy focus on performance and accuracy of the rifle. You will learn everything from different rifle carries and sling manipulation, to reloads and malfunction clearances and how to accurately engage targets utilizing different types of props/ barricades.  By the end of this course, you will have the foundation to be an asset with your carbine and engage targets more effectively while being a safe and effective asset to your team.

• Any semi automatic rifle/ carbine. 
• Minimum of 450 rounds of weapon appropriate ammunition
• 3-4 magazines
• Approved hearing protection
• Approved eye protection
• Two Point Sling
• Sighting System (IRON SIGHTS, LPVO, RED DOT, PRISM i.e. ACOG)
• Water,
• Lunch/ Snacks
• Permanent Marker

IMPORTANT NOTE:

All Students must bring $40 Cash to cover the Range fees/ Any student that does not have cash the day of the class will be able to pay with their card via our card reader. Depending on the facility, students may also check in with the front office area and pay the range the fee directly

Please bring lunch and snacks, we do not have a lunch break in our courses, we allow the student to eat as we move along with instruction throughout the day. We do not want to waste your time. We want to ensure that all the time we have together is devoted towards your training!
